303 Grams Of Carbohydrates In That Giant Chocolate Easter Bunny.

My type one child is capable of Easter candy the same as a non-type one child.  Does this mean we will let him eat that chocolate bunny in one sitting?  No, but he could if he wanted to.  He would just need the appropriate amount of insulin = 3 units per his Insulin:Carbohydrate ratio.  But that would not have ever happened even before diagnosis.  Will he have some of it as well as some other junk tomorrow?  Absolutely.  Good thing the Bunny leaves carbohydrate information.
